I was working on this one in parallel with the Harrower and managed to finish him up a day later. I got some good inspiration on him from the PP forums. The glow effect worked out pretty well I think. I liked the overall effect, and this model is really a majestic one to paint.

I just have to wonder, how you got the black looking so good? What paints etc? Also the green part of the robes. Fantastic, is that iosan and necrotite green for highlighting?
Thanks for the compliment! The blacks were done with P3 Cryx Bane base and highlight, along with trollblood base and just straight black. For the greens you are spot on, with a full range from a black wash all the way through the P3 green ranges, and then even a touch of Cygnus Yellow for the final highlights at key points to really bring out more contrast.
