This is my personal diary of painting experiments and Warmachine, Hordes and other miniature adventures (and perhaps a splash of real life thrown in occasionally too). This blog is as much for my own motivation as to share my experiences with others. My self imposed rule for my army is that I only field painted models. If you're a fellow painter, I encourage you to challenge yourself, learn new skills, try new things, and most of all, paint like you have a pair!

What happened? I use Krylon Matte coat to seal my guys...
Just a preference thing. The Krylon coat seems to be much more picky about the temperature and humidity and coat thickness. It left some of my models just slightly cloudy and gave them an odd texture. It's not really a huge difference, but I'm able to predict how Testors will perform for me and can adjust my painting to compensate. Krylon would probably be fine after enough practice uses, but I'm old and stubborn and don't want to learn another spray sealant. :)
